Meet our endontologists and assistants
ENDODONTISTS
Roberto Cristescu
Roberto Cristescu graduated as a dentist in 2004 from the University Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. Then, in 2006, he receives a Master's degree in Biomaterials at the Politechnics University Bucharest. After graduation, he spent several months in the US further deepening his knowledge in endodontology.
In 2011, Roberto completed his training as a dental endodontist at ACTA (Amsterdam). He is a licensed endodontist by the Dutch Association of Endodontology, a Certified Member of the European Society for Endodontology and also an International Member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Roberto has published articles for Endodontic journals. Since 2014, he has founded the independent Educational Platform in Endodontology - RCC ENDODONTICS, for which he regularly teaches courses in the Netherlands and abroad.
Olavo Viegas
Olavo Guerreiro Viegas graduated as a dentist from the Universidade de Coimbra in Portugal in 2013.
He then spent three years in general practice working as a dentist in Portugal and France.
In September 2019, he completed his training as a dental endodontist at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam.
Since 2016, his work has consisted exclusively of endodontics.
Thanos Fasoulas
Thanos Fasoulas graduated as a dentist from Aristotles University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2014. Then, he worked at the endodontic department of the military hospital in Thessaloniki until 2016 during his service with the Greek Army.
In 2016, he moved to the Netherlands and began working at general practices. At the same time, he obtained the Master's degree in Medical Research Methodology at the Medical School of Aristotles University of Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2021, Thanos completed his training as a dental endodontist at the University of Ghent, Belgium.
He is currently pursuing a master's course in Clinical Trials at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. He is a member of the Dutch Society of Endodontology, European Society for Endodontology and also American Association of Endodontists.
Miguel Marques
Miguel Marques graduated as a dentist from the University of Lisbon, Portugal in 2000.
In 2014, Miguel completed his training as a dental endodontist at ACTA (Amsterdam). He is a licensed endodontist by the Dutch Society of Endodontology.
Miguel has published articles for Endodontic journals.
Petruta Caputa
Petruta Caputa graduated as a dentist in 2011 from the University Iuliu Hatieganu in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
In 2018, Petruta completed her post-academic training as a dental endodontist at ACTA (Amsterdam). She is a licensed endodontist by the Dutch Society of Endodontology and a Certified Member of the European Society for Endodontology.
Her goal is to allow patients to keep their own teeth for as long as possible and to prove that root canal treatments can be a painless experience rather than scary.
In Memoriam – Ron Fransman
In 2006, our practice ENDO EN ZO was founded by Ron Fransman, a passionate and dedicated professional whose legacy continues to inspire our work every day.
Ron graduated as a dentist from the University of Amsterdam in 1984. After fifteen years in general practice with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, he specialized in endodontics, graduating in 1998 as a certified endodontist from ACTA and becoming a recognized member of the Dutch Association for Endodontology. He was also a member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Ron combined clinical excellence with a deep commitment to education. He taught at the department of Endodontology at ACTA, lectured nationally and internationally, and was a guest instructor at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation in San Diego. He also published articles in dental journals and contributed chapters to professional textbooks.
Ron’s true passion lay in helping patients through high-quality root canal treatments. With his skill and dedication, he relieved countless patients from pain. He was a valued member of the Studyclub for Dental Education, where he exchanged knowledge with colleagues across disciplines.
His vision, warmth, and expertise laid the foundation for what ENDO EN ZO is today. We honor his memory by continuing the work he loved with the same care and dedication.
